On 8th March 2024 in Rome (Italy), Ichinokura used our QMS-TRACE during an international reception ceremony. Their stand had only 2 types of Sake and QR Codes, which represented their commitment to digital x tradition, to fill the gap between age old practices and modern technological advancements.
March 6, 2024 is a new anniversary both for Japan and Finland Peppol Authority. The first commercial Peppol e-invoice was successfully sent from a Japanese company to the Finnish government. Although it is a BIS-3 specification, we created an XML with the cooperation of members of the Japan Peppol Authority, and after several trials, we were able to successfully send the invoice.
We asked Mr.Kato, Director of the Japan Peppol Authority, to press the "Send" button as a moment for epoch making.
On 27th February 2024, JP-MY Peppol Authority’s #2 Workshop took place in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The workshop was a great success, confirming the strong cooperative relationship between Japan and Malaysia, aka ‘PINT Brothers’.
Our Mr.Sugawara attended Exchange Summit Singapore (4th-6th December 2023) as a presenter of Japan Peppol Authority. Fujitsu Corporation and Hiyoshi Kaisoten LTD. also attended the summit to declare their own activities as a part of the initiatives.
On 7th October 2023, we held an event called ‘Pescando Al Futuro’. The scope of this event was to propose vast possibilities through digitalization starting from our traceability application on Blockchain, which leads to security of the food, to protect our planet and to enforce local economy.
On 3rd and 4th October 2023, Exchange Summit was held in Dublin Ireland. Japan Peppol Authority made a speech.
FFEB (Factura Electrónica en Bolivia) was held on 7-8th September 2023 in Santa Cruz (Bolivia) and I was asked to make a speech.
On 17th April 2024, we had an opportunity to visit TRElab (Transport REsearch LAB http://www.trelab.it/ ) of Rome Tre University for opinion exchange, hosted by Director Marcucci, Director Gatta and Mr.Erriu. This visit was organized by a suggestion from Mr.Erriu, who was interested in the various traceability activities which QMS International is working on.
