SouGo Co., Ltd. in Nagano Prefecture is the only company in Japan that develops original German chamomile products. They decided to conduct a pilot project using QMS TRACE to deliver "trust" to their users,  in addition to providing product information.

As part of our initiative, a chamomile soap product from SouGo was sent to a Tokyo-based restaurant with a QR that certifies its quality and provenance. This allows customers to directly verify the origins and authenticity of the product, helping them better understand SouGo’s unique approach and the reasons its offerings stand out.

They obtain raw German chamomile from chamomile farmers under contract and from their own farm. Each farmer is committed to producing high-quality organic chamomile.

During our visit, we had the chance to attend an informative lecture on SouGo’s detailed production process, which includes multiple quality checks at every step. This will help ensure that customers can trust the quality and integrity of every product, which is the strong commitment of the company.

Our tech team is trying to tackle this technical challenge for something that will enhance both transparency and operational efficiency.

During the trial period, QR will be attached to various products in order to deliver the features of each product directly to the consumers, especially SouGo Laboratory's efforts in product quality. Digital invoices (Peppol e-invoice) will also be used in some transactions.
